Q: Do You Support This “XYZ” Mobile OS?
We are actively working on bringing HauntApps to as many devices as possible but this is a complicated process. Once we have it working perfectly for a particular platform, we will make it available to all our clients. Be sure to keep checking HauntApps.com for updates or contact your HauntApps.com representative.
Q: Do I need an iPhone / iPod Touch?
If you wish to be able to view test builds of your application, then yes. We can build your app for you, but it is up to you to ensure your content appears correctly in the app. In order to do that, you will need to have a test build of the app that we provide for you to install on an iPhone and/or iPod Touch.
Q: I would like to create something custom for my app. Is that possible?
Possibly. Our clients are always coming up with new and interesting ideas for their app. To find out if your idea is possible, send us a note via our “Contact Us” page and we will see what we can do to accommodate your request.
Q: Can Online Tickets Be Purchased Using The App?
This depends on the online ticketing system that you are using. If they use a mobile or iPhone enhanced version of their checkout process, then yes your customers could purchase their tickets online. If you are currently investigating online ticketing vendors, we highly recommend “TicketLeap”. Click here to visit their website.
Q: Where Can My Customers Download The App? Will It Be Listed In the Apple App Store?
Once your App has finished testing by you and HauntApps.com, we will submit your App to Apple for Approval. This is a requirement for all Apps created for the iPhone. Once it has passed Apple’s Approval process, your customers will be able to download directly from the Apple App Store. We will provide you with the links to your application for advertisement on your website, printed materials, and however else you wish to promote your app. You customers will also be able to find it also by simply searching the App store also.
Q: Is There a Android Version Available?
Currently we are in the process of updating our Android edition for our service. Unfortunately, we don’t have a current release date for our new Android platform. When it is available, we will inform all our clients via email and this website.
Q: Will My HauntApp Run on a iPad?
Yes. iPhone created apps will run on the iPad as a magnified version. You can expand the App to full screen by pushing the “2x” button in the corner of your screen. You can also have a iPad optimized version created upon request for an additional fee. Contact a HauntApps.com representative for more information.
Q: Why Do I Need a Apple / Google License?
In order to distribute the apps inside the Apple App Store and Google Marketplace, you will need your own license with each company. This is because you hold the copyright to the images and content driving the app. Therefore, Apple and Google will only allow you to distribute your own app. But we will take care of the app’s submission and support. Also, it’s better for your app to be shown as being sold by you and not HauntApps.com in the store.
Q: How Do I Get an Apple / Google License?
We can help you setup your Apple / Developer license. We have created a quick guide to help walk you thru the sign up process for both Apple and Google. Q: How Much Does a Apple / Google License Cost?
An Apple Developer License cost $99 per year.
A Google Android Developer License cost a single one-time fee of $25.
Q: Do I Pay My Apple / Google License To You?
No. You must pay your license fee’s directly to Apple and Google. You are responsible for your Apple / Google account and required payments.
Q: When Does My Billing Cycle Start?
When you sign up for the HauntApps.com service, your billing will start at the date of signup and will last for one (1) year.
Q: What are the ads that appear at the bottom?
In order to run our service and offer apps at our current pricing, we offset our server and bandwidth cost by the use of ads inside the apps. For those who wish to have advertisements removed from their apps for an additional fee, an ad removal request can be made by visiting http://www.hauntapps.com/support/adremoval.
Q: Can I Have The Ads Removed From My Apps?
